Luxury Ski Chalets

The Alpine region in Europe is famous for its stunning nature and enormous ski resorts. For the people who have enough money, The Alps also offer some of the best ski chalets in the world. These “wooden castles” are a spectacle to behold, and they are filled with every luxury possible to make your stay the best it could possibly be.

The most popular and most expensive of these vacation houses are located in Switzerland, France, Austria and Italy. Places like Chamonix, St. Moritz, Val d’Isere and Val Gardena are world-renowned, and a place where the rich and the beautiful like to meet. If you are not content with an ordinary minibus transfer from the airport, you can have a helicopter bring you up to the mountains and your chosen ski resort. From there, it only gets better and more luxurious.

Quite cozy, isn’t it?

Chalet Living Room

Depending on how much you can afford to pay, the chalets in the Alps vary from modest cabins to mansions fit for kings. Large living rooms furnished with comfortable sofas and a big screen tv, state of the art kitchens with room to make whatever you want and a bedroom with one of the best views in the world doesn’t sound that bad does it? Add to that an outdoor jacuzzi, a luxurious bathroom, an inside gym and swimming pool, and you are starting to understand what kind of conditions await you.

Even the bedrooms are bigger than ordinary living rooms

When you are not in the mood to cook for yourself, a personal chef will make whatever you want, and a bakery can provide fresh-baked cakes and croissants every morning. There are also a number of high-class restaurants there where you can enjoy exquisite gourmet food and wines, or if your feel like shopping, you can check out the stores with all the world’s luxury brands. After a “gruelling day” like that, there is no better feeling than to throw another log on the fireplace and relax, or get a personal massage to relieve you of some stress.

If you are one of us mere mortals that don’t have thousands of dollars to spend on vacations, there are still ways to enjoy your stay in the Alps. By settling for a little less luxury, avoiding peak season and cooking your own food, you can come a long way. Travelling in a bigger group with a couple of friends will also help your budget, and the experience will probably be even better when shared with some of your buddies. What chalet you live in and how much money you have doesn’t affect the 3 greatest things about the Alps though ; The nice people you meet, the amazing slopes for beginners and pros, gorgeous nature and the crazy after skiing parties!

If you are not a fan of snow and cold weather, maybe a trip to luxurious Burj Al Arab in Dubai is more tempting?

A day in the Alps is a day you won’t forget
